Digicon is pleased to announce the release and implementation of the latest version of DotNetNuke 4.8.2. As an open source portal and content management system (CMS) based on Microsoft’s .NET framework, DotNetNuke has been successfully utilised by Digicon for years due to its versatility, ease of use and extensive range of features. The 4.8.2 version base has been set up on our local servers, and is currently being used for new client projects.
As a platinum benefactor of the DotNetNuke platform, Digicon has earlier access to pre-release versions that allow us to address compatibility issues between existing applications and the updated CMS. DotNetNuke continues to operate as an open source project with a dedicated management team, committed community, and well over 500,000 registered users. DotNetNuke has relied solely on organic growth since it was founded in 2002 - that is, without venture capital funding. This admirable statistic exemplifies the strong support provided by their user base.
Digicon continues to extend and refine the DotNetNuke platform within our web development projects.
