Queensland Companies who rely heavily on State Government work for their income, or are involved in export, must hold current Quality Assurance Certification.
 
Further, in December 2003, Queensland businesses to maintain current certification had to migrate their quality assurance systems from ISO 9002 - 1994 Standard, to ISO 9001 - 2000.
