Adding the Digicon touch for QPCU's touchscreen kiosk.
Background
For over 45 years Queensland Police Credit Union (QPCU) has been helping police officers, Queensland fire and rescue service personnel, ambulance officers, SES personnel, public sector employees and their families manage their everyday banking.
Their new Brisbane City branch needed self-service touch screen kiosks among other modern technology marketing mediums. They were after a web driven content managed solution featuring a clean professional, easy to use interface for customers to find information regarding accounts, finance, insurance and other services QPCU provides.

Goals
Key outcomes specified in the project strategy were based onQPCU’s strategic objectives and were broadly categorised as follows:
- To deliver product and service information to end users via touch screen PCs.
- QPCU staff need to be able to update touch screen content at any stage from any PC in their office.
Solution
- A combination of the Orchard CMS, a Graphical User Interface (GUI) designed for kiosk usability and selection of appropriate hardware and software.
- The site was developed for specific full HD touch screen hardware and a kiosk software solution Digicon recommended.
Customers using the system and happy clients can be seen in the QPCU branch at North Quay.
