Content Management

A 'Content Management System' (CMS) is a system whereby you as the user, or group of users, are able to control the content, the structure, and the flow on an Internet based application/website from a browser.

A CMS allows a business user to add, edit and delete content and structure on their website without the need for programming knowledge.

A CMS endeavours to mirror an operations workflow process. All documents in an organisation go through some review process before being made available on the Internet, intranet, or extranet application. A CMS controls this process that is critical to the integrity of the organisation.
